    Report after the Event  :- The program began with the National Anthem, followed by Welcome speech by Dr. Lukman Patel Mr. Anupam Srivastava addressed the students about the importance of taking up entrepreneurship and only with hard work and perseverance one can achieve the goal.

    Ms. Priya Iyer briefed the students with the support being provided through various schemes under the Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) schemes.

    Mr. Vivek Lokhande detailed various State Government Schemes for MSME , He told students to avail this facilities given by the state government these schemes. High Tea was arranged for all the participants M0r. Sunil Khujnare briefed the students about the support being provided by the MSME DFO. Ms. Priti Yamdagini motivated the students and conducted various exercises for knowing one self and to take up entrepreneurship as a career. Two students shared their experience and learning about the entire one day program. Dr. Lukman Patel anchored the whole proceedings of the day and presented the vote of thanks.

  • The annual Urdu book fair, popularly known as Urdu kitab mela, will hold its 26th event at the R2 ground, Bandra-Kurla Complex between January 6 and 14.   • Anjuman-I-Islam Allana Institute of Management Studies organised a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the theme of “ Business Case Writing and Solutions” on Saturday, 13th January 2024 at 10.00 am. The resource person for the FDP was Dr. Ankit Katrodia, Associate Professor, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, Mafikeng Campus, North West University, South Africa.

    The welcome speech was given by Dr. Lukman Patel, Associate Professor, AIAIMS and the Coordinator of the FDP and even introduced the resource person.

    Faculty Development programme was organised with a view that it may enable the participants to develop rich business case studies that can be taught in Management Studies curriculum. Case based teaching is a dominant pedagogy in management education and there is a constant need to develop case studies that are relevant. 
    This FDP aimed to help participants learn the various nuances of business case writing. This would help the faculty members develop case studies across diverse management domains that can be incorporated in the curriculum of management. The faculty members can develop the case studies by focussing on any discipline of management education, such as strategy, entrepreneurship, marketing, organization development, finance, and operations management, along with other faculty members in a group.

    Faculty members would understand how to write high-quality case studies that can be used as an effective pedagogical tool in class. Depending on their quality, some of these case studies could be published through prestigious case-publishing outlets. A compilation of high-quality cases may also be published as a book as well. It is expected that the case studies would be developed by the faculty members inline to their teaching and research interest. The FDP focussed on developing case studies and their associated teaching notes in a hands-on manner.

    The program was well appreciated by all the participants and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Bernadette D’Silva, Director, AIAIMS.
