Dr. Irfan I. Lakhani is an Associate Professor of Finance at Anjuman-I-Islam’s Allana Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. With over 25 years of diverse experience in industry, academia, and research, he is a recognized expert in Financial Management, Corporate Accounting, Securities Markets, Financial Regulations, Direct Taxes, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Banking.

Dr. Lakhani's professional journey began as a Senior Executive with International Steel Corp., a prominent steel trading and importing firm. He further honed his expertise as an Audit Officer with renowned bank auditors.

Dr. Lakhani has authored over 20 research papers published in prestigious national and international journals and co-authored two books. He has also completed advanced certifications and programs from leading global institutions, including MIT J-WEL at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), the University of Luxembourg, the University of Cambridge, the National Institute of Securities Market (NISM), IIM Kozhikode, Calcutta Business School, and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

A visionary professional, Dr. Lakhani has been instrumental in establishing strategic collaborations for Anjuman-I-Islam’s Allana Institute of Management Studies with prestigious organizations, such as the National Institute of Securities Market (NISM, SEBI’s institute), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE Ltd), Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum, Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), CMT Association (USA), Insurance Institute of India (III), and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).
